Story
The Nurture Lane
For nearly a decade, my husband and I dreamed of owning a home; but without guidance or clarity, we stayed stuck. We didn’t know where to begin or how to make the leap.
When we moved to Utah’s South Valley, it was a quick decision made out of necessity, not part of a grand plan. A month later, the pandemic hit. I found myself isolated in a new city, disconnected from community, and longing to move back to California.
Then something shifted.
We ran the numbers and realized there was a way forward. That summer, we bought our first home. It became a project to focus on and a small step toward stability. Even though I still thought we might leave, that home grounded me.
A few years later, we had the opportunity to purchase a small income property and this time, we approached it differently. We moved forward with clarity and intention, building a vision not just for ourselves, but for the people who would live there too. It wasn’t just about owning another property, it was about creating something thoughtful, stable, and lasting.
That experience changed everything.
I saw firsthand how powerful real estate can be when it’s rooted in empathy, strategy, and purpose.
Since then, Utah has become home. We’ve built community, found our rhythm, and watched our daughters thrive here. What once felt like a detour has grown into a life we love.
That’s why I created Nurture Lane: to help others move forward with clarity and confidence, especially during life’s biggest transitions. Because you shouldn’t have to navigate them alone.
